Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Systems Development Engineer to develop video analytics functionality and security solutions built on AI engines like Amazon Bedrock and Rekognition. You will design and build systems to deploy, maintain, and extend internal video capabilities globally, using AWS and DevOps patterns.

The role is hands-on, ranging from strategic planning to new system development and customer support, in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain cloud-based video analytics solutions for internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain cloud-based automation applications for deployment and configuration of 1P and 3P video solutions.
• Strive for cost-effective, highly available solutions and scalable infrastructure automation tools.
• Ensure security, robustness, and maintainability as services scale.
• Build instrumentation for health visibility, alerting, and self-healing capabilities.
• Uphold high standards of code quality and engineering excellence.
