Google Virginia, USA is seeking a Share Threat Defense Consultant (Mandiant) to join our Cloud Consulting Professional Services team. This mid-level role centers on security analysis, threat intelligence, and customer-focused advisory across diverse environments.

You will build strong client relationships, deliver briefing on security trends, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive effective incident response and proactive defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in security analysis, intelligence, customer success or a similar field in cyber security.
• Experience managing internal or external customer‑facing projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, focused on security, understanding their needs and challenges.
• Deliver insightful technical briefings on the latest security trends, including threat intelligence and malware analysis.
• Solve intricate technical challenges with ambiguous requirements, developing innovative and effective solutions.
• Provide timely and effective support for critical incidents and customer issues outside of standard business hours.
• Partner with various teams and stakeholders across departments to achieve shared goals.
