You will work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate roadmaps into compelling narratives, while preparing executives for press interactions and major events. This role focuses on innovation, customer stories, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with B2B technology/enterprise messaging is preferred.
• Experience conveying complex tech concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop proactive communications strategies for AWS foundational services and related technologies.
• Build relationships with technology and business reporters; serve as primary media contact for your portfolio.
• Create and execute always-on media programs educating press on service capabilities, customer adoption, and innovation.
• Identify stories including customer successes and industry trends.
• Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to translate roadmaps into communications opportunities.
• Support executives with communications strategies, media prep, and spokesperson readiness for events.
• Plan and execute communications programs for major product launches including re:Invent.
• Flex across multiple service areas as priorities shift.
