Job summary

Capstone Technology Partners is hiring a Systems Engineer to join a skilled team supporting DoD customers. You will help build and maintain secure product installations, collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners to align system behavior with business needs, and contribute to performance tuning and security compliance.

The role requires a TS/SCI with MD poly clearance, 10+ years of SE experience, and a bachelor’s degree (with substitution options).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years extra SE experience may substitute for degree, total 15 years.
• Experience with DoD systems and security standards.
• Experience tuning, migrating, and optimizing RDBMS.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; cloud platforms familiarity.
• Knowledge of ICAM capabilities and integrations.
• Ability to document configurations, processes, and support procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners.
• Strong organization and time management; able to work independently.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the SDLC for DoD customers as part of a DevOps-enabled team.
• Contribute to building and managing product installations for secure environments.
• Collaborate with development and QA to test, validate, and tune system performance.
