Job summary

Blink, part of the Amazon Devices family, seeks a System Development Engineer to build and operate large-scale cloud services for millions of Blink devices. You will help design and deploy cloud infrastructure within the Amazon ecosystem, tackling streaming video, event handling and high-performance computing challenges.

Ideal candidates have strong architecture skills, experience with distributed systems at scale, and a customer-obsessed mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience building services using AWS products.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, architecture, development and operations of large-scale cloud systems.
• Develop cloud services for Blink security devices and continue development of Blink infrastructure within the Amazon ecosystem.
• Work with streaming video, event handling, large-scale deployments and high-performance computing.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and ensure reliability and operational excellence.
