Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Systems Development Engineer for the Managed Operations (MO) team. You will balance day-to-day operations with long-term software engineering to reduce toil across AWS regions.

You will work on operability features, health monitoring, and automation while leveraging Generative AI to accelerate prototyping, testing, and infrastructure automation. Candidates should have deep experience with distributed systems and DevOps practices.

Competenze

• 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Generative AI technologies
