Job summary

CACI is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to support our National Security mission, overseeing cloud-based Windows and Linux systems and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS). You will manage the OpenText suite and PeopleSoft along with automation of critical production processes.

The role emphasizes security, incident response, and cost-optimized cloud solutions, requiring TS/SCI clearance and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS, IS, engineering, or other technical discipline with 3 years of experience.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential is required.
• Strong cloud infra, IT security principles, compute, storage, and transport knowledge.
• Expertise in Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational and customer-oriented skills.
• Ability to work in a high-functioning team or independently under supervision.
• Must be available for after-hours and on-call support.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to complete a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based apps on Windows and Linux using EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS.
• Manage and administer the OpenText suite and perform upgrades.
• Handle day-to-day payroll, benefits, time/labor, and batch file transfers.
• Troubleshoot complex system failures and address incident tickets.
• Automate production processes via cloud services, apps, OS, and scripting.
• Improve performance, availability, and security with cost-optimized solutions.
• Modify cloud infrastructure (storage, load balancing, resizing) with zero downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance with customers to balance operations and security changes.
• Monitor systems and logs to mitigate risk and stay compliant with NIST/IC directives.
• Collaborate with technical leads to adopt best practices.
• Perform backups/restores and manage user accounts and file systems.
