Job summary

Power3 Solutions is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with Poly and involves Linux administration, Docker/Kubernetes tasks, and working with Traefik and related tooling to maintain large clusters.

Responsibilities include remote SSH-based Linux tasks, software installation, and status gathering from Linux machines. A Bachelor’s degree or higher and Hadoop/Cloud Sys Admin certification are required, with 5 years on similar projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
• Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification.
• Experience with eVo, CoDE, WandS.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Traefik, Helm charts, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic Linux tasks: SSH to remote Linux machines, install software (RPM, YUM).
• Understand and work with Docker, Kubernetes, Traefik; gather status from Linux machines.
