Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is hiring a Cloud Systems Administrator Level 2 in Annapolis Junction, MD to support mission-critical, cloud-based repositories. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale Linux and distributed systems, including Hadoop and Accumulo clusters, while developing automation with Bash/Python.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and monitoring large distributed Linux environments and cloud computing.
• Experience with Linux-based performance troubleshooting and security hardening.
• Experience with large-scale Hadoop/Accumulo clusters and storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance across large-scale cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot real-time system, network, and data-flow issues across clusters.
• Support and maintain Hadoop/Accumulo clusters and other distributed systems.
• Perform Linux system administration in a dynamic operational environment.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash and/or Python.
• Execute patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as required.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure mission operations.
