Job summary

Google Cloud accelerates digital transformation and seeks a Site Reliability Engineer- SWE- Cloud in Mountain View, CA. You will write development code, review peers’ work, contribute to documentation, and help improve reliability and performance of critical services.

The role reports to the Google office and may allow a hybrid schedule; requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of SRE experience; base salary range is $152,800–$211,000 with a 15% target bonus plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Site Reliability Engineer-related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources of issues and impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
• Lead design reviews; improve lifecycle of services from inception to deployment; manage support services; provide guidance on availability and performance; maintain services post-launch.
