Job summary

Softchoice in Denver is seeking a Solutions Development Engineer to transform how we deliver Managed Cloud Services by building and deploying cloud solutions on Azure, AWS, and M365. You will diagnose issues, automate tasks, and optimize performance while collaborating with the Solutions Development Architect.

You should have 5+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud, strong scripting (Python or PowerShell), and hands-on IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, plus cloud certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined IT infrastructure, cloud (Azure/AWS) and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Proven experience in cloud service development and deployment.
• Proficiency with Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Cloud Service Architect to develop managed cloud services.
• Craft and deploy cloud solutions on Azure, AWS and M365 with a focus on performance, security and compliance.
• Develop and deploy cloud services using best practices and coding standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during development and deployment.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize cloud service performance and availability.
• Document code, processes, and configurations.
