Job summary

MedAcuity, LLC is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Cloud) to design and lead cloud-scale medical device software. You will shape architecture, evaluate new frameworks, and contribute across languages like C# and C++.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive SDLC activities, implement IaC, and guide CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with clients and internal leaders to deliver secure, reliable solutions. This role demands deep cloud experience (Google, AWS, Azure), strong containerization skills

Qualifications

• 13+ years of combined software development background with experience in back-end languages such as C#, .NET, Python, C++, or Java.
• In-depth experience with cloud platforms (Google, AWS, Azure).
• Deep knowledge of containers (Docker/Kubernetes), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing.
• Capable of designing solutions, defining specifications, creating documentation, assessing timelines, and reviewing code.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and lead the implementation of large-scale, secure, and resilient cloud-based systems.
• Define and drive cloud strategy, including microservices, containerization, IaC, and CI / CD pipelines.
• Develop on applications using languages such as C# and C++.
• Follow the full SDLC process, including requirements specification, design activities, planning, code reviews, and creating artifacts.
• Provide complete expert engineering solutions to high-visibility client initiatives and projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers to promote collaboration and pragmatic engineering decisions.
• Build collaborative relationships with key leaders and peers across the organization.
