Join to apply for the Cloud Solutions Architect (Delivery) role at Mission, a CDW Company.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work with Mission Cloud’s customers to develop strategic solutions leveraging the AWS portfolio. You will collaborate with our Project Management and Cloud Engineering teams to provide Mission’s Professional Services to assigned accounts and projects. You’ll be the primary point of contact for your accounts.

Our Cloud Solution Architects are responsible for holding regular consulting sessions to build roadmaps for optimization, automation, and resiliency, while hands-on engineers execute these plans to deliver excellent outcomes.

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Consult with multiple clients to understand business and technical needs.
• Be a trusted advisor; help align customer expectations with best practices.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and project plans based on customer goals.
• Coordinate with clients and Project Managers to set expectations and timelines.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities within AWS environments.
• Identify security gaps and recommend best practices to improve security posture.
• Present recommendations to customers and senior leadership.
• Translate customer requirements into LOE estimates and design documents.
• Guide Cloud Engineers during implementation.
• Ensure quality of engineering work and customer satisfaction.
• Train customers on management and maintenance of environments.
• Support Presales activities with proposal design.
• Document activities and time in Jira and Mavenlink.
• Mentor Cloud Engineers.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing consulting role.
• Experience developing project roadmaps, LOE estimates, and design documents.
• Ability to lead customer projects and quality check engineering work.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Experience deploying AWS infrastructure with IAC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building CI pipelines and automation.
• Experience designing containerization solutions with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, etc.
• Understanding of AWS security controls and network boundaries.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Willingness to support off-hours as needed.
• AWS Professional Certification (required within 6 months).

The salary range is $120,000 - $155,000, based on experience and interview evaluation.
