Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect with an AI focus to support the DHS ICE OSDSS program in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate has strong Azure and/or AWS cloud design experience, with a background in AI integration and SecDevOps practices.

You will guide cloud infrastructure decisions, optimize costs, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while acting as a trusted advisor to development teams and the client.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect in AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on design and support of AI/ML in cloud.
• Strong SecDevOps/CI/CD integration experience.
• Well-versed in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
• Cloud certifications are strongly preferred.

POSITION INFORMATION: Full time

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TIMING: Candidate must obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance, which typically takes4 to 6+ weeksto process. Clearance must be fully grantedbefore startingon the program.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Azure and/or AWS to support the DHS ICE OSDSS program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure design, AI integration, and SecDevOps environments, acting as a trusted advisor to both development teams and the client.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure to support development teams.

• Architect and optimize overall cloud environments, ensuring compliance, performance, and long-term sustainability.

• Provide expert-level guidance for the integration and deployment of AI solutions in cloud environments.

• Lead efforts to integrate and migrate new tools, platforms, and services into existing SecDevOps pipelines.

• Optimize cloud spend, including VM burn time, right-sizing resources, and eliminating unused VMs.

• Deliver third-tier support for outages and complex system issues.

• Act as a strategic advisor to both the client and development teams regarding cloud services, integration timelines, and product roadmaps.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect/Solutions Architect in AWS, Azure, or both.

• Hands-on experience designing and supporting AI/ML solutions in the cloud.

• Strong background in SecDevOps and/or CI/CD integration within cloud environments.

• Expertise in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to obtain aDHS Public Trust clearance.

DESIRED:

• Cloud certifications, strongly preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role is performed in a remote work environment. The employee must have a suitable home office setup with reliable internet access to perform job duties effectively. The position is largely sedentary and requires the ability to operate a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment for extended periods of time.
