Job summary

USEReady in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and govern modern cloud-based data and AI platforms.

You'll lead architectural standards, build CI/CD pipelines, and drive enterprise adoption of Snowflake/Databricks, GenAI, and ML technologies while collaborating with data scientists and software engineers. This 12-month engagement requires hands-on leadership and a strong DevOps mindset to accelerate innovation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks or similar platforms.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Azure cloud experience preferred.
• Understanding data warehousing, Delta Lake, lakehouse architecture.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, containers and Kubernetes.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and govern modern cloud-based data and AI platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake and/or Databricks, strong scripting and automation skills, hands‑on experience with CI/CD and SDLC best practices, and a passion for evaluating and adopting emerging cloud technologies. This role combines platform architecture, AI/ML enablement, DevOps, and technical leadership to accelerate innovation across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations for cutting‑edge capabilities across Snowflake, Databricks, and the cloud ecosystem, including AI, GenAI, ML, and data engineering innovations.
• Define architecture standards, governance policies, security controls, and operational best practices for cloud platforms.
• Experience of Azure networking, RBAC, managed identities, private endpoints, encryption, monitoring, disaster recovery and cost optimization strategies.
• Evaluate new platform features, recommend adoption strategies, and drive implementation of enterprise‑ready solutions.
• Design and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, data engineering, machine learning, and application deployments.
• Automate platform administration, monitoring, provisioning, and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or SQL.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI‑powered solutions.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct architecture reviews and establish engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud data platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, etc.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Jenkins etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, Delta Lake, lakehouse architecture, and data governance.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, MLflow, Delta Live Tables, Model Serving, and Lakeflow.
• Hands‑on experience building AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph etc.
• Experience implementing RAG, semantic search, and LLM orchestration.
• Experience with security, identity management, secrets management, and compliance for enterprise cloud platforms.
