Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Laurel, MD, to develop cloud-native software solutions using Java within a cutting-edge ecosystem that includes Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo. Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field required.
• Master's in a technical field acceptable and will count towards 2 years of experience.
• In lieu of the degree, an additional 4 years of experience accepted.
• Proficient in Java and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with MapReduce frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig).
• Familiar with Linux development, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and Ansible.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Elastic Certified Engineer; IAT Level II required.
