Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support the Cyber Mission business unit located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role emphasizes Agile and DevOps practices to deliver high-quality, reliable software for mission customers.

Teleworking is available based on tasking and customer approval, with a contractor facility offering flexible schedules. Qualified candidates will have Java/Spring/JUnit experience, a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field from an accredited college or university is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two years of experience.
• Shall have a total of at least 2 years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Experience with Java/Spring/Junit
• Experience with Git/GitLab

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions to support cloud-based mission tasks.
• Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to deliver high-quality software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and fix issues.
