Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop and test high-scale cloud services for Adobe's subscription platforms. The role emphasizes Java/Spring, RESTful APIs, data analysis, and end-to-end ownership across a large-scale system.

You will contribute from design through deployment, work with AWS-based services, and ensure high quality releases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience building RESTful services and large-scale client/server solutions.
• Excellent SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Familiarity with AWS, New Relic, Splunk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all software development activities including design, coding, code review, testing and bug fixes.
• Design and deliver medium to complex functionality independently.
• Collaborate to build scalable, high-performance solutions with low operational overhead.
• Work with multi-functional teams to ensure excellent end-to-end user experience.
• Prototype ideas quickly and research latest industry trends.
• Build features to improve product usability and track adoption metrics.
• Perform data flow analysis and experimentation across different systems.
