Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Software Support Engineer at an early career level to join our Cloud-focused Enterprise Solutions team. You will support cloud applications, work on full-stack development, and assist customers via phone, chat, and email from the East Coast footprint.

The role offers exposure to AWS, IAM, SSO, and DevSecOps practices, with mentorship and a path to grow in cloud engineering while delivering high-quality, reliable assistance to enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a BA or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience in cloud environments or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience with software development in one or more: Go, Python, Java, Node.js, or Bash
• Experience with JSON or YAML formats
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux environments
• Willingness to work East Coast business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET)
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, Workspaces) and IAM concepts
• Willingness to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
• Desirable: DevSecOps, CI/CD tools (Jira, GitLab, Argo, Jenkins) and container tech

Responsibilities

• Leverage your programming knowledge and learn new team technologies
• Apply architectural and development skills to deliver cloud-focused applications
• Participate in agile scrum standups and planning; track progress in ticketing system
• Manage time and track progress through the ticketing system
• Provide project documentation and incremental testing on code and deployments
• Apply IT or systems engineering experience to cloud environments
• Present work to team members and leadership and share knowledge
• Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for Enterprise Cloud Solutions during East Coast hours
