Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is building a centralized pipeline of Software Development Engineer (SDE) talent for anticipated roles in 2026. AWS SDEs will design, develop, and maintain efficient code, collaborate across teams to ship features, and resolve performance bottlenecks. You will participate in architecture reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Strong emphasis on building complex software systems using C#, C++, Java, or Perl, with ML and Python knowledge being advantageous for future roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years designing or architecture of new and existing systems.
• 3+ years building complex software systems.
• 2+ years designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
