Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is building a central pipeline of SDE talent for AWS in 2026. The role spans fungible SDE positions to specialized engineering roles across Embedded Systems, AI/ML, Cloud, and more.

You will design, develop, and maintain code, collaborate with product managers, and participate in architecture reviews while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of systems.
• 3+ years building complex software systems.
• 2+ years designing large-scale distributed apps using C#, C++, Java or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• As an AWS SDE, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable code.
• Implement complex software solutions meeting business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs and resolve them.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews to provide guidance.
• Contribute to process improvements and stay current with tech trends.
• Mentor junior engineers and help build a strong engineering culture.
• Engage with stakeholders and document technical work.
