Job summary

Halcyon Days Consulting, LLC is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to design and implement advanced cloud functions focused on Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD premium. The role emphasizes security, governance, and compliance across cloud platforms, with responsibilities spanning architecture, engineering, and mentorship.

The applicant should have extensive experience with Azure services, hybrid cloud migrations, and CI/CD practices, and will collaborate across multiple concurrent projects to

Qualifications

• 9+ years of cloud platform engineering or related IT fields (Master/PhD credits may count).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies including Azure AD Premium and Office 365.
• Hands-on with Azure services: Key Vault, Redis Cache, Service Bus, NSGs, App Insights, SQL DB, OMS.
• Design and support ADFS identity solutions and manage Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with hybrid cloud deployments and migrations to Azure; familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, TFS, PowerShell).
• Provide second-level support for compute, network, and storage in Azure/AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex cloud and network solutions in Azure.
• Lead security, governance, and compliance improvements for cloud platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as technical expert across concurrent projects.
• Support and optimize hybrid cloud deployments and migrations to Azure.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and automation with Jenkins, TFS, and PowerShell.
