Job summary

Wyetech is seeking qualified professionals to join our cloud software research and development teams. The role focuses on building scalable applications in Windows/UNIX environments with Hadoop, NoSQL, and RESTful services, aligned to federal government contracts.

Candidates should bring strong Java/C/C++ skills, Hadoop experience, and exposure to cloud platforms, with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance. The position offers diverse contract locations and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly.
• Within the last three years, at least 1 year experience with Map/Reduce and/or Hadoop, Hive, and/or Pig.
• Within the last three years, at least 1 year experience with HDFS.
• Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification.
• Within the last seven years, at least 5 years programming in Java, C, or C++.
• Within the last five years, at least 3 years designing and developing apps in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
• Within the last five years, at least 3 years experience with OpenSource NoSQL (Hbase/CloudBase/Accumulo/BigTable).
• Within the last three years, at least 1 year experience with requirements analysis for OO systems.
• Demonstrated experience developing RESTful services.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related discipline; or Associate + 2 years or 5 years experience substituted for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, and sustainment.
• Develop Restful services and data-driven analytics for cloud platforms.
• Collaborate on designing and deploying analytics across heterogeneous schemas.
• Support security clearance requirements and federal contract terms.
