About our group:

Our group at Seagate Technology drives new business opportunities for storage at Cloud providers. We collaborate closely with senior peers covering the Cloud builders (OEM, ODM and CM).

About the role - you will:



The Seagate Cloud Sales team is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Representative to lead our engagement with a prominent Cloud Service Provider (CSP). You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and strategically positioning our offerings within the CSP's ecosystem. This is a customer-facing role that requires exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.





Strategic Partnership:






  • Collaborate closely with the CSP's Senior level team to understand their business objectives, pain points, and growth strategies.








  • Develop a deep understanding of the CSP's cloud services portfolio, competitive landscape, and market trends.








  • Identify opportunities for mutual growth and alignment between the CSP and our organization.







Sales Leadership:






  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing deals.








  • Manage the entire sales process to deliver predictable and profitable business, including successful quarterly negotiations, product life-cycle management, demand planning, and supply strategies.








  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity within the team.









Relationship Management:






  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders at the CSP, including C-suite executives, technical leaders, and procurement teams.








  • Function as a trusted advisor, providing insights and solutions that address the CSP's business challenges.








  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.







Market Intelligence:






  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.








  • Leverage market intelligence to refine our value proposition and tailor offerings to meet the CSP's evolving needs.







Cross-Functional Collaboration:






  • Work closely with product management, marketing, account management and technical teams to align our solutions with the CSP's requirements.








  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and have an ability to collaborate, influence, and lead in a matrix organization.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $143,000 - $212,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.



This position is also eligible to earn additional commission-based (70/30 plan) compensation pursuant to an established commission sales plan. Actual commission-based compensation will be based on performance and the eligible target incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change.
