OMES in Oklahoma City seeks a Director of Cloud and Server Infrastructure to lead enterprise cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence. This is a full-time onsite role reporting to the Information Services Division and guiding cloud architecture, engineering, and operations teams.

The position emphasizes modernization, governance, and cost-effective cloud spend with collaboration across agencies. Salary is up to $130,000 depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in an information technology field, 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Cloud and Server experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Direct and mentor cloud architecture, engineering, and operations teams; foster innovation and accountability.
• Oversee statewide cloud migration initiatives and guide modernization efforts across agencies.
• Implement cloud governance frameworks aligned with security, compliance, and financial management standards.
• Scale cloud automation, orchestration, and monitoring to improve reliability and reduce overhead.
