Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Cloud Computing SME to join our government project supporting the Defense Logistics Agency in Springfield, VA. The role emphasizes RMF, DoD guidance, and CNSSI standards within a cloud environment, with an active Secret clearance and IAM expertise.

You will develop and staff security documentation, advise on controls, and collaborate with DOD architects to ensure compliant cloud deployments across multiple DLA locations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance with IT-I eligibility.
• 5 years of RMF/C&A experience.
• DOD IA experience.
• Cloud security certification such as CCSP or CCSK.
• Active certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAM III standards.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF implementation and CNSSI 1253 guidance.
• Maintain current certification as CCSP and DoD IAM.
• Assess RMF security controls and gather artifacts.
• Recommend security categorization and identify controls.
• Develop continuity plans and test plans.
• Staff system-level security documents (SOPs, Job Aids, Manuals).
• Work independently with strong cloud security knowledge.
• Identify and resolve cloud security risks and apply best practices.
• Follow FedRAMP assessment methodology across six domains.
