Job summary

Ally Financial seeks a Cloud Security Principal Engineer to join the Information Protection and Risk Management team. You will design, implement, and govern security controls across SaaS and cloud platforms, working with the Sr. Director, Cloud Security to mature the security posture.

Key responsibilities include managing CSPM, tuning configurations, and collaborating with security teams to remediate risks. A strong background in Python, Terraform, and cloud security is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in cloud security or security engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field(s) of study or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support existing cloud security infrastructure and security projects.
• Define and mature cloud-focused security policies and controls.
• Perform health checks and user activity audits of security platforms.
• Triage security incidents and drive remediation with IPRM.
• Collaborate with teams to improve Ally’s cloud security posture.
