Job summary

Replit is seeking a Cloud Security Lead to own security across GCP (primary) and other clouds, focusing on secure-by-default development and scalable security practices. You will drive CSPM, container/Kubernetes security, and secure AI/ML pipelines, partnering with Engineering, Compliance, and Platform teams in a hands-on leadership role.

You’ll influence product, engineering, and go-to-market decisions while shaping enterprise security posture for a developer-centric platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with 3+ years in a senior/lead role.
• Hands-on experience with CSPM tools such as Wiz, Lacework, Prisma, Orca or SCC.
• Deep expertise in GCP security (IAM, VPC, KMS, GKE, Cloud Logging).
• Experience securing and governing SaaS platforms and identity integrations.
• Operational experience with vulnerability management across cloud and container stacks.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure security services and configurations.
• Container and Kubernetes security across GKE, EKS, or AKS.
• Strong IaC security experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud security across multi-cloud environments and lead security engineering.
• Lead CSPM platforms, establish baselines, guardrails, and remediations.
• Secure critical SaaS platforms and ensure proper configurations and access controls.
• Lead vulnerability management for cloud, containers, registries, and services.
• Improve security across containerized workloads and runtime protections.
• Partner with engineering to bake security into CI/CD and deployments.
• Collaborate with Security Monitoring, Compliance, Architecture, and DevOps teams.
