Job summary

A technology company in Seattle is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to design and maintain technical security controls across their cloud infrastructure. The role involves ensuring compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS while supporting DevOps workflows. Strong experience in AWS security and Terraform is essential. Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or DevSecOps.
• Deep experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, VPC, etc.).
• Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Experience with Sumo Logic or equivalent log management tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and enforce security best practices for AWS infrastructure.
• Use Terraform to define and enforce compliant infrastructure.
• Build and tune log pipelines and alerts to identify threats.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and respond to vulnerability findings across security layers.
• Implement technical controls to meet compliance requirements.
