Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to facilitate security initiatives and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with application teams. You will help develop policies and guide development teams in implementing secure solutions to meet enterprise security requirements.

The role emphasizes risk tracking, threat modeling, and staying current with security procedures and technology controls, including testing and data handling practices.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years IT security operations experience.
• Experience with Prisma Cloud toolset (Redlock, Twistlock, PureSec).
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Professional information security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, GISCP, GWAPT, GWEB etc).
• Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to explain technical security concepts to non-security audiences.
• Strong understanding of information security technologies.
• Additional Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS).
• Web services security and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate security efforts and remediate vulnerabilities with app teams.
• Develop policies and assist development teams in implementing secure solutions.
• Keep development teams accountable to metrics measuring risk.
• Track risk statements and work with risk owners to close gaps.
• Maintain knowledge of security procedures, directives and technology controls.

Basic understanding of AWS

AWS Cloud Practitioner

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
