Motion Recruitment Partners in the Boston area is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and scale our cloud security program across modern infrastructure environments. This hybrid role collaborates with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to secure cloud-native apps and protect critical systems.

The ideal candidate has strong cloud security, IAM, and risk management experience, with hands-on work in AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC security, and security architecture.

Formación

• 5+ years in Information Security or related field
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP
• Strong IAM and cloud-native security controls understanding
• IaC security practices with Terraform/CloudFormation
• Kubernetes security best practices
• Vulnerability management and incident response experience
• Familiarity with SIEM/EDR/cloud monitoring tools
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash
• Knowledge of NIST/CIS/ISO SOC 2 frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in related field

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement security controls across cloud infra and apps
• Conduct cloud security assessments and architecture reviews
• Automate compliance processes and governance
• Monitor environments for threats and vulnerabilities
• Improve IAM governance and access controls
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in pipelines
• Develop security automation to boost operations
• Lead remediation efforts for findings
• Support incident response investigations
• Promote cloud security best practices across the org
