Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Orlando is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen a Microsoft-centered security program in a large, regulated environment. This hands-on role focuses on threat detection, tenant hardening, identity modernization, and security automation for Azure and the broader stack.

You will communicate risk and remediation to technical teams and firm leadership while safeguarding sensitive data across multi-state operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel, plus strong KQL skills.
• Experience with M365 tenant hardening, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.
• Security automation experience using PowerShell, Logic Apps, or Azure Functions.

Responsibilities

• Detect, tune, and operate detections and response workflows across Defender XDR and Sentinel.
• Lead tenant hardening across the M365 stack and enforce secure baselines.
• Build and maintain security automation to reduce manual effort and speed response.
• Govern Azure infrastructure, apply data governance and IAM best practices.
• Document security standards and communicate risks to technical and leadership teams.
