Job summary

Clinilabs seeks an IT Security and Cloud Solutions Engineer to manage, secure, and support cloud apps, network infrastructure, and security platforms with emphasis on AWS, M365, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading security initiatives, auditing materials, and threat monitoring; the role supports clinical trial operations in a regulated environment and requires strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field; extensive experience may substitute.
• Minimum of seven years IT experience focused on cloud security, data protection and security operations.
• Experience administering Active Directory and managing MFA, SIEM, MDR, EDR.
• Working knowledge of email security and cloud backup tools.
• Experience managing Cloudflare services (CDN, DNS, WAF, SSL/TLS, VPN).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST and CIS frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of AWS security and monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting secure adoption of AI tools and governance.
• Security for network infrastructure: routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, wireless.
• MS 365 security, AD, SSO, IAM, endpoint security, compliance controls.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• GxP/life sciences regulatory experience is a strong differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present vendor audit materials to auditors, customers, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Subject-matter expert for enterprise cloud security platforms including SIEM, MDR, MFA.
• Monitor security tools and perform log reviews for threats across cloud, network, and MS 365.
• Provide technical leadership for network, cloud platforms, and IT projects supporting regulated environments.
• Enhance Clinilabs’ security posture by maturing toolsets and operational processes.
• Develop and review IT policies; provide audit support for security and compliance assessments.
• Escalation point for level 1 support; perform level 2-3 troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties to support IT operations, security, and business objectives.
