Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

- Review and assessment of architectural artifacts (e.g. architecture diagrams) for compliance to security policy and identification of risks and potential areas of improvement - Collaborate with peer Cybersecurity

professional in the assessment of IT solution for security posture

-Liaison between Cybersecurity organization and the rest of Caterpillar to communicate, embed, and demonstrate compliance to Cybersecurity requirements - The individual will assist in the creation, review, and approval of solution architectural documentation that graphically depicts all components used by the application along with all connections and data flows down to the port/protocol level.

Typical task breakdown:

- Review and assessment of architectural artifacts (e.g. architecture diagrams) for compliance to security policy and identification of risks and potential areas of improvement

- Collaborate with a peer Cybersecurity professional in the assessment of IT solutions for security posture Working with global internal business partners. Will be working with a main team of about 8 people and interacting with teams across the business on specific cases.

Work environment:

- Hybrid work solution – daily standups (required) and weekly or biweekly check ins. Office environment exclusively

Education & Experience Required:

- Associates degree required in IT or related field, Bachelor’s degree

preferred. 0-2 years experience required.

- Those with Master’s Degrees or P.H.D. 's are likely overqualified - Will consider candidates with H.S. Diploma or GED plus 2+ years related experience

Technical Skills (Required)

- Familiarity or knowledge of overall cyber security

- Security knowledge and school/university experience with MS Azure and AWS (2 years of experience)

- Knowledge of exp documenting or designing large system architecture

- High level communication skills – updating team members and stakeholders on a consistent basis.

- Cloud Security best practices (e.g. Cloud Security Alliance’ CCM – Cloud Controls Matrix) - General cybersecurity expertise aligned to industry standards including, but not limited to; ISO27001/2 and NIST, Microsoft Visio. *Please list all cyber security courses or knowledge and/or certification to be taken into consideration.

Soft Skills (Required)

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to document and communicate highly complex technical solutions in an

easy to understand manner.

- No relevant working experience unless graduation occurred less than 3 years ago.
