The role has a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and workload security, identity and access management, data protection, and secure cloud configurations. The engineer will help integrate security into infrastructure delivery, review cloud architecture, and support the responsible adoption of AI-enabled technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engineer and improve security controls across Microsoft Azure infrastructure and workloads.

Role Requirements

• Approximately 4 7 years of relevant information security experience.
• Strong hands-on Azure cloud security and infrastructure expertise.
• Knowledge of workload protection, cloud configurations, and secure architecture.
• Experience with identity management, authentication, and access control.
• Understanding of encryption, secrets management, and data protection.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• Ability to identify and implement practical security improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan at least three days weekly.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• AI/LLM security or secure enterprise AI adoption experience.
• Exposure to cloud security posture management platforms.
• Experience securing AWS, GCP, or hybrid infrastructure.
• Knowledge of enterprise SaaS security and API integrations.
• Financial services or other regulated-industry experience.
