Job summary

Nesto Cloud is seeking a Cloud Security Developer to design, implement, and maintain security for our cloud-based systems and applications. You will partner with development and operations to safeguard our infrastructure and ensure compliance across environments.

You will drive security across CI/CD, IaC, and Kubernetes, leveraging GCP and Azure services, and contribute to threat modeling, incident response, and evolving best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure or security roles.
• 5+ years development experience (GoLang, TypeScript/JS).
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with DAST/SAST tools (Tenable, Snyk).
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with security tooling (WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
• Knowledge of CIS, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Perform architectural and design reviews with a security lens and provide actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with security leadership, compliance, and engineering teams on security strategy.
• Build, deploy, and manage security tooling including WAFs, IDS/IPS, and workload protection.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, Helm).
• Design processes for least privilege access and scalable security operations.
• Support incident detection, response, observability, and audits.
