Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Developer to join the FortiCASB team in Sunnyvale, CA.

You will design, develop, and optimize our SaaS security platform, delivering secure cloud access security solutions at scale. Responsibilities include building CASB features, integrating DLP and DSPM, developing APIs and microservices, and optimizing architecture for security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of experience in cloud security development or SaaS application development.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, IAM, and VPC.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Zero Trust security models.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOC2, and NIST.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team environment.
• Experience in data mining, anomaly detection, or predictive analytics, preferably in security or cloud environments.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$183,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time, as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors, including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at the time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
