Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with security assessments or design reviews or threat modeling.
• 2 years of security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
• 2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and delivery of secure, high-quality engineering solutions for Alphabet’s multi-cloud infrastructure, owning specific technical features and components.
• Implement cloud security controls and support the maintenance of well-lit paths, balancing developer velocity with security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate and support the enforcement of security controls within assigned project scopes.
• Identify and implement technical improvements to existing security controls, contributing to the refinement of security standards across cloud initiatives.
