Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to join our ProServe team. You will collaborate with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS security solutions to protect assets and reduce risk across cloud environments.

You will architect scalable security controls, gather requirements, and provide guidance on industry best practices. The role involves hands-on implementation, mentoring teams, and ongoing risk management throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and security implementation experience.
• 3+ years automating security operations and policy as code.
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 and S3.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical security problems independently and deliver secure AWS solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define and implement controls.
• Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommended solutions.
• Be an established expert in at least one AWS security domain.
• Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
