Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks a security-focused professional to conduct in-depth assessments of high-risk applications and cloud-native services, delivering actionable findings to engineering leadership.

You will monitor AWS/Azure environments, embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, and develop cloud security standards aligned with RMF/SA&A and NIST frameworks. Must be a US citizen eligible for DOE clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• US citizen and ability to obtain DOE L or Q clearance.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments of high-risk applications, cloud-native services, and architectures.
• Monitor cloud environments for misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and policy drift.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and guide remediations.
