Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an experienced Application Security Architect to join our technology team in Milwaukee. You will bridge application security architecture, engineering, DevOps, and cloud security to guide secure design reviews, assess data flows, and define controls that protect CLA’s technology environment.

You will drive governance and automation across CI/CD, GitHub Actions, IaC, containers, and cloud deployments while building a Cloud Security Posture Management program

Qualifications

Experience leading or supporting secure design reviews for application, cloud, commercial, and hybrid solutions.
Experience reviewing technical architecture, system interaction, and data-flow diagrams.
Experience with application security architecture, cloud security, DevOps security, and security engineering.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code, containers, and software supply-chain security.
Ability to connect technical security risks to practical controls and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead and support secure design reviews for a mix of proprietary, commercial, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
Document risks, mitigations, ownership, and residual risk decisions.
Review system interaction diagrams and data-flow diagrams for security gaps.
Establish and grow a Cloud Security Posture Management practice across teams.
