Job summary

CLA is seeking an Application Security Architect to bridge application security architecture, engineering, DevOps, and cloud security. You will lead secure design reviews, assess data flows, and define controls to protect CLA’s technology environment.

You will also provide governance and automation support for security controls across CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, IaC, containers, and cloud deployments, establishing a Cloud Security Posture Management practice.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience, 4+ years in IT security, 2+ years in security design/strategy.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure design reviews for proprietary, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
• Document risks, mitigations, risk ownership, exceptions, and residual-risk decisions.
• Review system interaction diagrams and data-flow diagrams.
• Develop reusable security standards, assessment patterns, templates, control baselines, and architectural guidance.
• Establish and build a Cloud Security Posture Management practice coordinating people, processes, and technology.
