Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks a seasoned cyber security professional to conduct in-depth security assessments of cloud-native systems and guide remediation for risk-prioritized findings. The role focuses on cloud environments (AWS/Azure), CI/CD integration, and secure design reviews.

The candidate will implement cloud security standards, map controls to NIST frameworks, and coordinate with engineering leadership to protect critical cyber defense infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain DOE clearance.
• Experience with Cloud Services such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management.
• Experience commensurate with level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments of high-risk applications, cloud-native services, and architectures and deliver actionable findings.
• Continuously monitor AWS/Azure environments for misconfigurations and policy drift.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and guide developers on remediation.
