Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud environments across AWS and Azure. The role offers remote work with flexible location options and requires deep security expertise in cloud-native architectures.

You will lead security reviews, enforce policies, and collaborate with SecOps to harden deployments. A strong background in IAM, KMS, VPCs, and container security (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential, along with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cloud security architecture.
• Proven expertise in securing major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security services such as IAM, KMS, Security Groups, and VPCs.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly preferred.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join their innovative team, with the flexibility to work remotely from Welkom or any other suitable location. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and implementing secure cloud environments across multiple platforms, primarily AWS and Azure. Your expertise will ensure that our client's cloud infrastructure is resilient, compliant, and protected against the latest cyber threats. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud technologies and security best practices, enabling you to architect solutions that align with business objectives and maintain a strong security posture in a cloud-native world.

Key Responsibilities
