Job summary

Hyper Solutions Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, release pipelines, and reliability practices for its products. You will design and operate the AWS-based platform, manage the on-call rotation, and govern incident response and release processes with policy-driven approaches.

The role partners with Engineering, Security, and Quality leadership to formalize runbooks and guardrails. On-site work in Richmond, VA is typical.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Terraform at scale with thoughtful state layout and blast radius.
• Deep AWS expertise including IAM, Organizations, VPC, ECS, and RDS.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and OIDC.
• Proven incident end-to-end ownership and written policy governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate on-call rotation with clear escalation and tooling.
• Own incident response, triage, severity, escalation, and post-incident reviews.
• Own the release pipeline from merge to production, with rollback procedures.
• Architect and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform code.
• Govern AWS environments, accounts, and identity controls.
• Author and maintain operational policy as versioned documents.
