Job summary

Motive is seeking a Red Team Security Engineer to join the Product Security Team. You will lead adversary emulation and offensive assessments across cloud environments, driving remediation with software and engineering groups.

You will evaluate cloud identity architectures, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and cloud-native services while tracking attacker techniques and improving detection coverage. Strong reporting skills and relevant certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in offensive security, red teaming, and penetration testing.
• Ability to map findings to MITRE ATT&CK and communicate risks.
• Concise, actionable reporting to diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, GXPN, GPEN, or cloud security certs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute red team operations and adversary simulations in cloud environments.
• Evaluate security of cloud infrastructure, identities, CI/CD, containers, and cloud services.
• Identify attack paths from IAM misconfigurations and misused privileges.
• Assess detection and response coverage with logging, monitoring, and IR processes.
• Track emerging attacker techniques and cloud exploitation trends.
