Job summary

Malanai LLC is seeking a Database System Administrator to manage a software server environment, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the infrastructure. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades while collaborating with IT and development teams.

The role requires 1–3 years of admin experience, proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, MECM, SQL Server, ServiceNow, and AWS in a mixed Linux/Windows environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of system administration experience with software server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory account management and Windows Server 2012/2016.
• Familiarity with MECM/SCCM, SQL Server, ServiceNow, and AWS.
• Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support computer systems and peripheral hardware including memory, drives, network cards, media converters, routers, switches.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows-based servers and workstations both locally and remotely.
• Perform system tasks such as adding/removing users, software installation, monitoring systems, and daily user assistance.
• Provide remote support by diagnosing issues, escalating unresolved issues, and ensuring resolution and documentation.
• Log tickets accurately, track incident status, and maintain detailed problem-solving records.
