Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Software QC Analyst to ensure high‑quality cloud software (PRISM) through manual and automated testing in a hybrid Huntsville/remote setting. You will craft test cases, execute them, and collaborate with Dev and QA teams to deliver reliable software for municipal water analytics.

You will be part of a globally distributed team using Azure DevOps, Git, Angular, and Python-based ML components, with a focus on automation and fast feedback.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of experience testing software products.

Responsibilities

• Works with software developers and the QC Manager to develop manual test cases for PRISM
• Executes manual test cases
• Collaborates with the automated test team to automate manual test cases
• Logs issues during testing process
• Tests and verifies fixes for logged issues
• Works with the QC team leadership to test software releases – hot fixes, minor fixes, and full regression releases
• Assess User Story requirements for user workflow and sends feedback to Product Management
• Works with Product Management to provide our customers with an extraordinary quality experience
• Works with internal and external customers to develop workflow and test the product against those workflows to ensure delivery of value
