Job summary

Insight Direct USA Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Cloud Engineer II to own end-to-end Google Cloud projects for external clients. You will plan resources, manage governance and risk, and collaborate with sales, architecture, and customer success teams to deliver solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in CS, 2 years of related experience, and strong familiarity with Jira, Smartsheets, MS Project, and Google tools. Remote work may be possible on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, or closely related.
• 24 months of experience in project management roles.
• Knowledge of Google ecosystem for Infrastructure Modernization, Data Engineering and App Development.
• Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience in budgets, P&L, and client payment schedules.
• Ability to present status, risks, and financials to executives and clients.
• Client-facing experience delivering technology solutions for external customers.
• Ability to draft proposals, structure deals, and develop SOWs with sales.
• Experience leading diverse teams (Engineers, Architects, PMs) and cross-functional alignment.
• Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheets/MS Project, and Google Sheets/Slides.
• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Database Engineer or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Google Cloud projects for external clients.
• Plan resources, governance, delivery, and risk management.
• Communicate clearly to stakeholders from C-suite to staff.
• Collaborate with sales, solution architecture, TAM, customer success, and Cloud Economics.
• Participate in pre-sales activities and proposal development.
• Lead project teams including engineers, architects, and PMs across disciplines.
• Develop detailed project plans and deliver using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
• Coordinate with PMO on status, risks, decisions and changes.
