The Field Engineering team consists of cloud solutions architects working directly with customers to design private and public cloud solutions tailored to workload needs. Technologies include on-premise solutions like Openstack, MicroCloud, Ceph, and deployable solutions such as Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Spark, PostgreSQL. Managers and team members deploy, test, and hand over solutions, and participate in presales to provide technical advice.
The manager is responsible for line management, career guidance, developing talent, representing the team technically, and collaborating across teams and with customers. Active participation in technical presales is also expected.
This role is home-based, managing a team in your time zone.
